Choosing the right resolution plays a decisive role for installation projectors in order to achieve razor-sharp images and the best possible projection results. Different resolutions are available depending on the area of application:

• Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels): Ideal for presentations, conferences or training courses where texts, graphics and videos need to be displayed clearly. Full HD is particularly suitable for medium-sized projection screens and rooms where high image quality is required at an attractive price-performance ratio.

• WUXGA (1920 x 1200 pixels): With a 16:10 format, WUXGA offers a higher vertical resolution than Full HD and is ideal for presentations, technical applications or CAD visualisations where extra image height and razor-sharp details are required. Particularly advantageous in conference rooms and educational institutions.
  

• 4K UHD (3840 x 2160 pixels): For applications where the highest level of detail is required, such as in large auditoriums, digital signage installations or for sophisticated visualisations in control rooms. With four times as many pixels as Full HD, 4K offers razor-sharp images, the finest details and an impressive viewing experience - even on large screens

The brightness of an installation projector is decisive for the quality of the projection and depends heavily on the lighting conditions and the size of the room.

• Daylight projection: In bright rooms or in daylight, projectors should have a brightness of at least 5,000 to 6,000 ANSI lumens to ensure a clearly visible image.

• Slightly darkened rooms: For rooms with dimmed lighting, 3,000 to 5,000 ANSI lumens are often sufficient to achieve a clear and high-contrast projection.

• Completely darkened rooms: In completely darkened environments, a brightness of 2,000 to 3,000 ANSI lumens is sufficient to produce a razor-sharp image.
