Atlona AT-UHD-SW-5000ED

The Atlona AT-UHD-SW-5000ED is a 5 to 2 HDMI + HDBaseT switcher with auto-switching, audio de-embedder (analogue/digital) and support for 4K/UHD@60Hz (4:2:0). The switcher has two HDBaseT and three HDMI inputs as well as one HDBaseT and one (mirrored) HDMI output.

The HDBaseT ports support PoE and a maximum range of 100m.

The SW-5000ED fulfils the functions of "Advanced Automated System Control (AASC)" and is therefore particularly suitable for use as the central element of an automated AV system. AASC consists of three elements:

• "Automatic Display Control (ADC)", enables the automatic switching on/off of displays and projectors via RS-232, IP or CEC
• "Automatic Input Selection (AIS)", enables the automatic switching of inputs (incl. fall back function).
• Signal detection takes place via the video signal, not via the 5V of the "Hot Plug Detect (HPD)"
• "Volume Control" enables centralised control of the audio volume
