The versatile one - configurable for your requirements

The BSS Basic Case for the ATEM Mini Extreme offers a wide range of configuration options and can thus be optimally tailored to your streaming needs. Even in the basic version, it has real features to offer. These include a headphone output, optionally also in a 6.35 mm jack version, as well as a second "monitor out" output, with which you can also duplicate your monitor signal on a large screen or beamer. Everything necessary is included and can be adapted exactly to your needs with the various options. As standard, it is equipped with a 15.6-inch Full HD monitor and a second HDMI out, for example to connect a beamer. It also includes a headphone jack for listening to your stream and optional features such as a USB charging socket or a battery connection.

15" Broadcast Monitor

The director's monitor is always at your side. Just flip it open, switch it on and you have an overview of all your video and audio channels. With 15", you take advantage of the maximum size with compact case dimensions at the same time. And all this is done without additional cabling or extra work. The monitor recognises your ATEM input signal and automatically turns on with the ATEM Mini Extreme. In addition, the monitor video signal of the HDMI output is also available on the back of the case. In this way, you can, for example, supply a large control room display directly with the programme overview of the input channels.

Fatigue-free view thanks to ergonomically adjustable screen

Especially when things have to move fast - all connections of the ATEM Mini are arranged in a stable and accessible way on two sides of the case. And there are more extras to boot! Easily adjustable to the optimal viewing angle. Regardless of the height at which your cabinet is placed, you can adjust the monitor to the ergonomically optimal viewing angle with just one flick of the wrist. This allows you to create your mix "relaxed", even if the stream should take longer. A reinforcing frame made of powder-coated stainless steel in the lid ensures sufficient stability.

Small features make all the difference

Magnetic holders secure the screen safely in its final position. If the lid is accidentally closed with the monitor open, special soft impact surfaces are provided to absorb shocks. The operating and adjustment elements to set the monitor exactly to your viewing preferences are located on the right side of the housing. They are easy to reach because the monitor can be opened wide.

Even if you have to be quick - all connections of the ATEM Mini are easily accessible with stable sockets on two sides of the case. And there are even more extras!

On the front is the central on/off switch as well as the 3.5 mm stereo connection for your headphones, which is ergonomically positioned and easily accessible. Optionally, this is also available in a 6.35 mm version. Thanks to the stable handle, you have a secure grip on the case.

All video inputs and outputs as well as the two USB-C ports are equipped with stable sockets on the back and are easily accessible. Should one of them reach its maximum plug-in cycles in daily use, it can be inexpensively replaced.

Just plug it in - the internal power supply delivers enough power to supply all integrated components and still has reserves for optional expansions. The two audio inputs allow you to feed unbalanced stereo line signals directly into your broadcast, and the Ethernet port safely connects your Internet access for your streams via cable. Optionally, there is still room for a USB charging socket and a battery connection.

Even if things get heated up - with the integrated fan, the built-in components keep a "cool head", which they thank you for with a longer service life! And for those who like it especially quiet - a thermostat regulates the speed in the Professional Case depending on the temperature inside the case.

Compact & Robust

Its robust hard case already provides the necessary transport protection. This is a solid solution to avoid lugging around two containers for the components or a bulky flight case. In the BSS case for the ATEM Mini Extreme, the components are safely stored, nothing falls out and thanks to the two retaining clips, the case always remains securely closed during transport. In addition, the size of only 430x380x154mm is optimally adapted to the ATEM Mini Extreme. Everything fits inside and there is enough space for expansion. With a total weight of only 7.5 kg, it still remains very compact and easy to transport.

6.35mm headphone jack - always all ears with your professional headset!

End fiddling with cumbersome adapters when trying to plug a 6.35 mm jack plug into a 3.5 mm jack. With the optional 6.35 mm headphone jack, your professional headphones will immediately find the right connection!

And it will stay there even if a slightly stronger pull is applied to the cable. Our jack locks the plug securely until you decide to unplug it. This way, you can listen to your stream directly, ensuring the quality of your transmission. The connector is ergonomically located on the front for easy access. And the volume can be easily adjusted via the monitor's menu buttons.

USB charging socket for enough power

A plus of security for your live stream. With the optional USB-A charging socket, you can charge your accessory devices around the case, such as smartphones and tablets, during live operation or supply them with power accordingly. And that with up to 2.3 A. The intelligent charging control ensures that the connected devices are provided with the correct charging current. Battery connection with UPS function - in addition to mains connection

What if you were as independent with your stream as you are with your camera?

Our battery connection brings this freedom to your transmission. It allows you to use standard 12 V-14.4 V battery connections, for example V-mount batteries, to power your case directly from the camera battery. Or you can use your car's on-board socket or another 12 V source. This opens up completely new possibilities to run your stream independently of the mains. And this in addition to the existing mains connection.

If a projector receives an image signal with a lower resolution than the native, it also interpolates, it scales the image up to the native resolution, calculates corresponding additional pixels, if possible without changing the image information. The disadvantage here is that although the image is displayed larger than fed, the original individual pixels may become much more visible as they are multiplied by the conversion. 4K: 4K refers to the resolution of 3840 x 2160 or Ultra High Definition Television (UHDTV). This resolution corresponds to 4 times the resolution of Full HD. To record films with this resolution, special cameras are needed that can record at around 8 megapixels (4K). Full HD: The term Full HD is used to describe devices that can physically display or output HDTV signals in full (1920 x 1080 pixels). 1080p: 1080p is the specification of the vertical picture lines.
