Product information
The Cinema Slimframe is the latest generation of framed screens from DELUXX, and this high-quality version of our slim frame is the result of years of further development and experience in screen construction.
The Deluxx 2.0 Gain high-contrast fabric "BRIGHTVISION"filters out the disturbing stray light and focuses the projection light on the viewer to a particularly high degree. The Deluxx Cinema SlimFrame - BrightVision thus combines the best reflection results under bright ambient conditions.
The Deluxx BrightVision SlimFrame ALR is a high-quality, high-gain frame screen with a velvet-coated 12mm cover - LED TV design up to 160".
The screen fabric was specially developed to increase the in-picture contrast under bright ambient conditions. Even in such environments, our BrightVision cloth improves typical "wash-out effects" or "grey haze". In addition, it increases the black level and thus creates vivid FullHD and 4K HDR content.
It is ideal for brighter projection environments, such as conference and meeting rooms, auditoriums or lecture halls.
Our SlimFrame has a sturdy, extruded aluminium frame and uses the thinnest visible frame on the market for maximum visibility with minimum installation size. With a framed edge of just 12 mm, the ultra-slim frame offers a sleek and sophisticated look that is ideal for modern conference or home cinema applications. Its unique design resembles a high-quality LED TV, but allows for a much larger viewing area.
The BrightVision fabric effectively reflects and concentrates incident light from the projector to the centre of the viewer and absorbs ambient light to noticeably improve the brightness and contrast of the image, even in bright ambient conditions. Projection protects the human eye in comparison to actively emitting displays, as reflected light is demonstrably healthier for the viewing eye than actively emitting light, such as with an LED display.
With advanced surface coating technology, the DELUXX Cinema frame screen SlimFrame BrightVision looks like new for decades and has a lifespan of well over 10 years. (with typical indoor use)
Deluxx's BrightVision contrast cloth has been developed with an extremely fine surface structure and is already 8K suitable.

Aspect Ratio | 16:9 Aspect Ratio Format: The projected image is output in a format (aspect ratio) specified by the projector. The format is also determined by the resolution of the projector (see also the entry "Resolution"). The screen format is usually selected on the basis of the format of the beamer image. The most common formats are 4:3, 16:9 and 16:10. |
Viewable Area - Width | 354 cm Viewable Area - Width Visible surface: The usable surface of a screen is the coated part of the cloth on which the image is projected. The frame and box width are always a few centimetres wider than the usable surface of the screen. |
Viewable Area - Height | 199 cm Viewable Area - Height Visible surface: The usable surface of a screen is the coated part of the cloth on which the image is projected. The frame and box width are always a few centimetres wider than the usable surface of the screen. Leader: The leader or offset is the part above the screen. This allows the upper vertical area of the fabric of a roller screen to be limited and freely determined within certain limits. The leading edge prevents the visible area of the screen from being set too high when a screen is positioned in rooms with high ceilings. |
Gain factor | 2 Gain factor Gain factor: The gain factor (or also called gain) is used to assess the reflection behaviour of screens and describes the light gain achieved in contrast to the brightness of the projector. A gain factor of 1.2 indicates that a screen reflects 1.2 times more in a given direction than a defined white standard surface. The gain factor is always given for the straight viewing angle of 0 degrees. Hot spot: A hot spot is a brightening in the centre of the image on a screen. These disturbing artefacts are created by the direct visibility of the projector lamp and only occur on screens with a very high gain factor (1.8 to 2.0). |
Viewing angle - Horizontal | 90° Viewing angle - Horizontal Viewing angle: The viewing angle indicates the distance from the centre line at which the projected image is perceived as being of good quality without restrictions. As a rule, the horizontal viewing angle is specified. A good viewing angle lies within a range of 110 to 130 degrees from the centre of the picture, i.e. 55 to 65 degrees to the left and 65 to the right. If you are outside the viewing angle, the picture deteriorates disproportionately. |
