In product development, we’ve taken our customers’ feedback and requests to heart, significantly improving the projector screen both technically and in terms of internal and external features.

The new celexon UST High Contrast Floor Scissor Projector Screen - HomeCinema Plus is now much better prepared for integration into or mounting onto furniture.
In combination with a modern ultra short throw projector, it becomes a true laser TV and thus a viable alternative to traditional TV sets, which can disrupt your interior design when not in use.

The best part remains: When not in use, the screen disappears almost entirely from view, as it does not need to be mounted on the wall or ceiling, but instead vanishes into or behind your lowboard. This lets you enjoy the dream of a rollable 80-120” TV that's only visible when in use.

Ever larger screen sizes are difficult to integrate with classic projector screens and TVs into a high-end living room design. A TV larger than 75” often looks unappealing when turned off, disrupting your room's aesthetics and taking up valuable wall space that could be better designed or used for other furniture.

With our new CLR floor scissor projector screen and a UST projector, you can elegantly bypass this issue. The clean-line housing design not only makes it easier to mount in or on furniture compared to the previous version—it also looks great in minimalist spaces.

Celexon’s new floor scissor projector screen offers smart features that provide significant visual and technical advantages over similar products from other manufacturers.

A highlight is the newly developed electric housing flap, driven by a separate motor, which protects the projector screen from environmental factors when not in use, ensures a discreet look in the room or furniture, and impresses from the first moment it extends.

For integration into a lowboard, our new floor scissor projector screen features invisibly integrated carrying handles in the housing, allowing you to easily and safely insert the screen from above. Likewise, it can be removed just as easily if you need to install new or additional AV components or lay new cables.

Equally smart and practical is our improved scissor joint mechanism. High-strength, die-cast aluminum joints ensure an extremely long lifespan and many thousands of up/down cycles. With celexon’s floor scissor projector screens of the HomeCinema Plus series, you’ll enjoy a big-screen cinema experience for many years.

In addition to all external and mechanical improvements, we also focused our development on our CLR high contrast fabric. A newly developed microscopic light grid structure, produced using advanced manufacturing methods, creates up to 20% brighter images, delivers more punch and color contrast, and makes the screen even more suitable as a true TV replacement in your living room.

We’ve significantly increased the number of directional reflective louvers on the fabric and improved the coating of the upper, light-absorbing and ambient-light-deflecting areas—producing outstanding projection quality under nearly all lighting conditions. Looking at the principle of diffuse reflection, modern science shows that unlike direct LED light, the non-emissive nature of projected light on a projector screen causes less eye fatigue and is thus healthier for the eyes during long viewing sessions.

A laser TV with the new UST floor scissor projector screen from celexon is not only easy on the eyes—it’s good for them.

Even modern ultra short throw projection benefits from maximum in-image contrast and deep blacks. For an “OLED-like” effect, a contrast fabric like that used in celexon’s CLR HomeCinema Plus series is essential—it noticeably enhances black levels. At the same time, disruptive stray and residual light are minimized—especially ceiling light can be reduced by up to 90%.

Celexon’s black grid CLR high contrast fabric significantly enhances UST (ultra short throw) projector images: the unique multi-layer design visibly improves black levels and effectively minimizes the “gray haze” caused by ambient light. Ambient light is actively deflected or absorbed, resulting in a high-contrast image even in daylight or with lamps turned on. You’ll be amazed by the unprecedented screen size as a TV replacement—saving you the cost of a separate TV.

Our new “micron scale black grid” UST contrast fabric is ideal for all common (Full HD & 4K) and future projector resolutions up to 8K thanks to its special structure. Especially noteworthy is its unrestricted viewing angle stability of up to 170 degrees—so everyone on the sofa can enjoy true big-screen TV without compromise.

As with the previous series, we offer the new version in classic black (ideal for dedicated home theater rooms) or a subtle white finish—perfect for living rooms or meeting spaces—at no extra charge.

Our proven tension system ensures a perfectly flat surface—essential for UST projection—without annoying ripples at the edges. For even better tension across the screen, we’ve made the side tension tabs concave. The result is flawless flatness for uninterrupted short throw projection.

Additionally, we’ve extensively reworked the fabric coating and created a unique softness using new material blends in the backing layer. This prevents horizontal streaks or impressions from the rolling shaft or bonded areas between leader and fabric.

celexon Installation Tips: For ease of use, our experts recommend using a trigger connection. The required USB trigger cable is included and can be connected to a USB-enabled UST projector, so the screen automatically rises with projector startup and retracts when the projector is turned off.

The included mounting brackets can be tilted +/- 1.5°. Use this feature to align your projector screen perfectly with your projector—eliminating the need for image-degrading keystone correction and ensuring pixel-precise resolution.

Our electric floor scissor projector screen is safe, simple, and quick to install. 

You have options: Place it directly on the floor, on or behind your sideboard, or mount it to the wall—just connect the power and you’re good to go. For an even more discreet installation, the straight-line housing is ideal for integration into furniture. The side control units and power connection are designed to require minimal space and not protrude. Integrated carrying handles make handling even easier.
