Product information
The celexon HomeCinema wireless trigger FT1 allows you to control your celexon motorised screen without interference, even through brick walls.
Annoying overlaps with existing IR devices are a thing of the past. Furthermore, the radio system does not require a direct line of sight between the transmitter and receiver. This makes the system particularly suitable for concealed installation.
The celexon wireless trigger offers the optimal solution for reliably making any projector trigger-compatible! Unlike cable solutions, a trigger-out (3.5 mm jack socket) does not necessarily have to be available on the projector. USB triggers also sometimes fail on the projector USB ports, as these ports are not always directly disconnected from the power supply by the projectors.
celexon's solution avoids this problem with this smart wireless trigger. Simply connect it to the power cable of your projector, teach it and your projector can always control your screen reliably and smartly and automatically - without the hassle of laying cables!
This means that your screen can extend automatically when you switch on your projector and retract again as soon as the projector is switched off.
Functionality and compatibility of the celexon HomeCinema wireless trigger FT1:
To use the wireless trigger, you must have a screen from the following series. This trigger cannot be combined with any other screen series:
- celexon UST high-contrast floor-mounted screen - HomeCinema Plus
- celexon CLR UST high-contrast floor-mounted screen - HomeCinema V2.0
- celexon HomeCinema Plus Tension motorised projection screen - CLR UST
- celexon electric laser TV pull-out
The trigger is plugged into the power connection on your projector, then the power cable from your projector is plugged into the trigger. That's it – the technical connection is complete.
Your projector must have an "IEC connector" (IEC-C14) for this, which is the case with almost all devices.
Alternatively, retailers offer simple adapter solutions if your projector has a "Mickey Mouse connection" (IEC-C6) or "small appliance connection" (IEC-C8).
C14 connection:
C6 connection:
C8 connection:
The celexon radio trigger is then taught to the respective power consumption when your projector is switched on and can thus recognise the difference between your projector being switched on or off and reliably controls the screen by radio.
Due to the design-related necessary partly different installation of the motors in the screen or the pull-out, the direction of rotation of the motors can be different. Therefore, the radio trigger may need to be switched over to control the screen or pull-out in the correct direction. To do this, simply press the "Learning button" on the radio trigger for 5 seconds until the red LED flashes briefly several times. The trigger can then be adapted to the respective direction of rotation.
