Product information
The new CLR Performance frame screen from celexon offers an unprecedented price/performance ratio. Outstanding image properties of the latest CLR technology from celexon combined with a further developed, particularly simple construction and fabric tensioning system - absolute top performance for your home cinema and at a particularly attractive price.
We have been continuously developing our CLR screens for many years - celexon is one of the pioneers with this technology.
Our new CLR Performance screen offers you a very competent CLR fabric with the best ambient light absorption properties, contrast and high colour neutrality. Simply everything you need for good performance in your home cinema, from the initial setup to the impressive large 100" screen - a real price-performance favourite on the current market!
Entry CLR fabric material vs. celexon Performance CLR
In order to be able to offer this price, we do not use a cheap "CLR fabric finished product", but process CLR fabric material from a pre-production stage in our own processes to create the final CLR Performance fabric.
The construction of the frame is extremely simple and at the same time highly effective in terms of circumferential tension. Our CLR Performance frame canvas is stretched 100 % all the way round. We achieve this with a newly developed keder system, whereby the keder attached to the fabric is pressed into a groove on the frame profile all the way round. no tedious and only selective spring tensioning - the fabric is mounted directly from the front on the frame all the way round to the corners.
The result is 100% flatness over the entire fabric area - permanently!
You will also find our new mounting rail system, which is infinitely adjustable with millimetre precision, in the Performance series of our CLR screens.
Mount once - perfectly aligned forever.
This allows you to drill the required holes in your wall just once and easily adjust the required height for your projector using the mounting rails.
Even if you change your projector or the furniture on which it stands, you can easily adjust the screen position to the new dimensions without having to drill again. A scale attached to the rails makes it noticeably easier for you to set the correct height; the frame can be moved sideways on the rails just as easily.
smart ideas for the bigger picture.

Aspect Ratio | 16:9 Aspect Ratio Format: The projected image is output in a format (aspect ratio) specified by the projector. The format is also determined by the resolution of the projector (see also the entry "Resolution"). The screen format is usually selected on the basis of the format of the beamer image. The most common formats are 4:3, 16:9 and 16:10. |
Viewable Area - Width | 221.4 cm Viewable Area - Width Visible surface: The usable surface of a screen is the coated part of the cloth on which the image is projected. The frame and box width are always a few centimetres wider than the usable surface of the screen. |
Viewable Area - Height | 124.5 cm Viewable Area - Height Visible surface: The usable surface of a screen is the coated part of the cloth on which the image is projected. The frame and box width are always a few centimetres wider than the usable surface of the screen. Leader: The leader or offset is the part above the screen. This allows the upper vertical area of the fabric of a roller screen to be limited and freely determined within certain limits. The leading edge prevents the visible area of the screen from being set too high when a screen is positioned in rooms with high ceilings. |
Gain factor | 0.55 Gain factor Gain factor: The gain factor (or also called gain) is used to assess the reflection behaviour of screens and describes the light gain achieved in contrast to the brightness of the projector. A gain factor of 1.2 indicates that a screen reflects 1.2 times more in a given direction than a defined white standard surface. The gain factor is always given for the straight viewing angle of 0 degrees. Hot spot: A hot spot is a brightening in the centre of the image on a screen. These disturbing artefacts are created by the direct visibility of the projector lamp and only occur on screens with a very high gain factor (1.8 to 2.0). |
Viewing angle - Horizontal | 160° Viewing angle - Horizontal Viewing angle: The viewing angle indicates the distance from the centre line at which the projected image is perceived as being of good quality without restrictions. As a rule, the horizontal viewing angle is specified. A good viewing angle lies within a range of 110 to 130 degrees from the centre of the picture, i.e. 55 to 65 degrees to the left and 65 to the right. If you are outside the viewing angle, the picture deteriorates disproportionately. |
