17'' Open-Frame PCAP Touch Monitor with Touch-through-Glass Technology
The ProLite TF1734MC-B7X 15" (43 cm) Open Frame Monitor features a 10pt projective capacitive touch display with a safety glass to the very edge. The monitor is IP65-rated, which means it is dust and waterproof from the front. Together with the touch-through-glass technology, which allows seamless and precise touch response through an external window or glass surface, the monitor is the ideal solution for areas such as industrial and in-store retail, but also perfect for vending machines, digital shop windows and anywhere visual and interactive touch surfaces are desired. To facilitate installation, the monitor can be equipped with separately available mounting brackets (OMK1-1).
TOUCH TECHNOLOGY - CAPACITIVE
This technology uses a sensor network of microfine wires integrated into the glass surface. By touching the glass, electrical signals are changed and thus the touch position can be calculated and transmitted to the controller. The glass surface of this technology is extremely durable, the touch functionality remains unaffected even if the glass is scratched. It offers perfect image reproduction and can be operated with the fingers (even with latex gloves) or magnetic pens.
TOUCH THROUGH GLASS
This touchscreen display with touch-through-glass function transforms conventional glass surfaces into interactive touchscreens. Perfect for interactive shop windows, POS or in restaurants as a digital menu.
Scratch resistance
Scratch resistance is essential for touch solutions used in public places and schools. This is achieved by a glass pane on the screen. It guarantees a long lifetime of the touch function and even more important, the touch function remains unaffected even if the glass is scratched.
IP
The IP code certification indicates how resistant the screen is under extreme conditions. IP65 means that the monitor is dustproof and protected against water jets.
OPEN FRAME BRACKETS
This open-frame monitor can be equipped with mounting brackets, which are available separately. These guarantee easy installation and make it an ideal solution for integrators and kiosk system manufacturers
