Product information
Micro-USB is the smallest USB connector design to meet the needs of ever smaller devices such as smartphones, mobile phones, PDAs and digital cameras. There are 2 connector shapes: Micro-A plug (rectangular design, for the host side) and Micro-B (trapezoidal designModern smartphones and tablets nowadays require more and more charging current to quickly recharge their batteries and often demand 2A and more from the power supply units. To ensure that this charging current reaches the mobile device with as little loss as possible, the connection between the power supply and the device, i.e. the cable, must be dimensioned accordingly to minimise power loss. This fast charging cable has extra-strong solid copper wires, and of course normal data transfer between the mobile device and PC is still possible.
