Flexible switching and collaboration for hybrid meetings
The SWT3-31-HU-TR enables seamless switching of AV and USB host signals to simultaneously send them to the AV output and USB devices in the room. This feature supports collaborative hybrid meetings where multiple participants can share their content with both in-room and online participants. Controlling the paired signals is easy, making it simple to switch between different devices and participants. In addition, the system automatically recognises BYOD devices, disconnecting them from meeting systems and reconnecting them to ensure a smooth transition in hybrid meetings.
High compatibility and easy integration into AV systems
The switcher offers advanced HDBaseT 3.0 signal transmission and supports the latest HDMI standards such as HDCP 2.3, Deep Color, CEC, x.v.Color™, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD, 2K, 4K and 3D. HDMI mirroring makes it possible to send the input signal in parallel to an HDBaseT output and HDMI output, for example to operate local monitors or additional devices in a daisy chain. I-EDIDPro™ technology also ensures intelligent processing and forwarding of EDID data, so that devices can communicate smoothly with each other.
USB extension and ease of use in hybrid meetings
Flexible USB switching and extension allows USB signals to be transmitted over longer distances between the sender and receiver, making it easy to integrate USB devices such as cameras, microphones or input devices. USB 2.0 signals are extended, while local USB 3.2 devices are also supported. The feature allows active USB hosts to be connected to either local or remote USB devices, which is particularly important in hybrid meeting environments for efficiently controlling various devices.
Audio functions and network security
The SWT3-31-HU-TR supports multi-channel audio signals with up to 32 channels, which are also suitable for high-quality surround sound. The system has an audio de-embedding function that allows the digital audio signal to be converted into an analogue signal and sent to a professional audio system. At the same time, the audio can be played on the speakers of an AV receiver. In addition, the switcher offers secure IT LAN connectivity thanks to 802.1x authentication, which increases security in corporate networks.
Simple control and advanced features for professional installations
The switcher offers versatile control options, including IP controllers, browser-based web interfaces, local buttons or remote contacts. For integration into complex AV systems, the device includes an intelligent control gateway that enables control of AV and USB devices via CEC, RS-232 or IR. In addition, Ethernet and RS-232 signals are transmitted bidirectionally, simplifying the control of devices over longer distances. PoE support enables a simple installation in which the switcher is powered over LAN or HDBT connections. The fanless, compact enclosure makes it easy to mount in racks or under desks.
