Brilliant colour reproduction
Quartet Colour Harmonizer is an original colour wheel mechanism with optimised optical design. It modulates light output according to the colour requirements of the image and achieves wide colour spectrum reproduction with pure white for greater colour accuracy and depth without sacrificing brightness. Combined with the stable SOLID SHINE laser brightness and superior uniformity of DLP™ imaging, colours appear richer and brighter without the green cast that sometimes occurs with alternative projection technologies.
Experience the following highlights:
- Guaranteed laser safety
- Quick Start / Quick Off function
- 360-degree front and side body rotation
- Edge blending and colour matching functions
- Compatible with Art-Net DMX, Crestron Connected™ and PJLink™
- DICOM simulation mode
Rich Color Enhancer
Rich Color Enhancer includes a dynamic mode that prioritises image brightness and a graphics mode/default mode to suit graphical content. This mode adjusts colour wheel timing for deeper colour saturation in situations where maximum brightness projection is not required.

Dynamic Contrast 2 Enhances contrast precision
PT-FRZ60/FRZ50 features a new Dynamic Contrast 2 setting that enhances digitally modulated contrast precision to a level close to our professional models. Dynamic Contrast adjusts light output frame-by-frame or scene-by-scene according to picture requirements, achieving accurate contrast when light and dark scenes alternate frequently. Whites are brighter, blacks richer and skin tones more natural, even in well-lit environments. The technology also uses less energy than conventional projection systems.

Wide-range lens with 2.0x zoom and lens shift
To pave the way to a stress-free installation, the projectors are equipped with a 2.0x optical zoom lens that supports a wide range of projection distances while filling the entire screen with a high-brightness image. V/H Lens Shift (Vertical: +64%, -44% and Horizontal: +34%, -27%) locates the image on the screen when optimal projector placement is not possible, such as in rooms with high ceilings or for angled projection. V/H keystone correction (vertical: ±40 °, horizontal: ±20 °), curved screen correction and automatic image rotation function are included to further increase flexibility. Lens, lens shift range and optional mounts are identical to the previous Panasonic PT-RZ570, making the PT-FRZ60/FRZ50 a cost-effective replacement choice as the new projector can be directly swapped out with virtually no installation adjustments.

Supports 4K/60p signal input
Both projectors support uncompressed 4K/60p input signals via HDCP 2.3 compatible HDMI® inputs or the DIGITAL LINK connector. The ability to play Ultra HD video at the projector's resolution is invaluable when distributing the same signal to 4K-capable endpoints with different screen resolutions. An external video converter is not required, saving installation costs, and you no longer need to re-encode video to match different screen resolutions. If desired, both video and 10Base-T/100Base-TX compliant control signals can be assigned to DIGITAL LINK via CAT5e STP cable (or higher): a cost-effective way to connect over long distances.
CEC-capable HDMI inputs and USB DC output
HDMI inputs are compatible with control commands from a CEC-compatible component, allowing you to turn the projector on/off and start playback using the source device's controls. A 5 V/2 A USB DC output powers an HDMI network streaming device, allowing groups to share content from their PCs or mobile phones on the big screen. USB power also supports connection of PressIT , Panasonic's new wireless presentation system, for effortless one-touch transfer of content from PC or mobile phone - no software installation required.
Separate LAN and DIGITAL LINK ports
Separate LAN and HDBase-T™-based DIGITAL LINK ports enable 100Base-TX and 10BaseT compatible control signals via Panasonic, Crestron ® , AMX and Extron ® applications assigned to the dedicated LAN connection, enabling DIGITAL LINK for high video bandwidth over cable distances of up to 150 m (492 ft).
Quiet 27 dB projection mode
With more classes and meetings now taking place online, it's important to have a quiet projector that won't drown out the discussion. A quiet projector also helps your team focus by limiting distractions. PT-FRZ60/FRZ50 has a silent mode that allows for virtually inaudible operation at 27 dB (PT-FRZ50) or 30 dB (PT-FRZ60). Enjoy better results from an attentive audience, whether they are in the room or participating online.
SOLID SHINE laser for reliably high brightness
PT-FRZ60 and PT-FRZ50 feature long-life solid-state laser modules instead of a consumable lamp. The benefits of laser projection are emphatically proven, with no consumable parts to replace over years of continuous 24/7 projection and a flatter brightness ramp with superior colour uniformity. Experience better image quality for longer at a comparatively lower cost. Another benefit is the ability to turn the unit on and off at any time via the room switch without damaging the light source.
Laser redundancy maintains image display
Failover circuitry limits brightness loss in the unlikely event of a single diode failure. Multi Laser Drive Engine features redundant laser modules that maintain image display and allow presentation to continue if one laser module fails, invaluable for mission-critical situations where projection must not be interrupted.

Filterless cooling and airtight optical block
Implementing heatpipe-based cooling with heat sinks for the DMD block eliminates the need for an air filter. These projectors can operate continuously for 20,000 hours* in dusty environments without maintenance thanks to a hermetically sealed optical engine that prevents dust ingress and associated image degradation.

Multi Monitoring & Control Software with optional early warning features
Manage up to 2,048 units via intranet with convenient system overview visualisation and automatic search for unregistered units. The free software is bundled with optional early warning functions*. These enable anomaly detection, scheduled maintenance reminders and more.
Daylight View Basic
Panasonic's Daylight View Basic technology achieves sharp, highly visible images by enhancing detail, especially in dark areas of the image that are normally difficult to see in brightly lit rooms. A built-in sensor measures ambient light, while Daylight View Basic adjusts the halftone colour and brightness to match the ambient lighting.
