Supports 4K/60p signal input
The PT-RZ990 series supports input of uncompressed 4K/60p signals* via HDMI® or DIGITAL LINK connections. The ability to play back Ultra HD quality video at the projector's actual resolution proves useful when transmitting the same signal to multiple terminals with different screen resolutions. The additional effort of an external converter is thus a thing of the past. These projectors integrate seamlessly into your system structure and work smoothly with other 4K-capable display devices.
Separate LAN and DIGITAL LINK ports
Separate LAN andHDBase-T™-based DIGITAL LINK ports allow 100Base-TX and 10BaseT compatible control signals to be transmitted viaPanasonic, Crestron®, AMX and Extron® applications over a LAN connection, enabling video transmissions over wired connections of up to 150 m via the DIGITALLINK system.
Lens options for creative possibilities
With interchangeable lenses, you're ready for any installation situation, with projection distances from 0.280:1 to 8.58:1. The ET-DLE020 ultra-short distance lens is also compatible. The world's firstUST lens with optical zoom, its zoom and H/V lens shift function enables adjustments with zero screen offset even after installation. The mirrorless, aspherical glass lens is suitable for compact projector housings and enables front and rear projections on surfaces that would otherwise be too small for short-distance projections.
Smart Projector Control
Smart ProjectorControl is a mobile application for remote control of selected projectors.Install the app on your iPhone or Android™ device, connect your device to compatible projectors via Wi-Fi (LAN) and control functions such as lens adjustment, input switching, status monitoring and more. The app also has a convenient autofocus function that precisely focuses the projector via the smartphone camera.
Geometric Adjustment with Free Grid Correction
The PT-RZ990 series features a proprietary Free Grid function within the built-in geometry adjustment that supports remote grid-based image adjustment. Grid resolutions of 2 x 2, 3 x 3, 5 x 5, 9 x 9 or 17 x 17 can be displayed and image areas rearranged or geometrically adjusted to correct image distortion. The correction is done by adjusting control points at the intersections of the grid lines. The grid resolution can be continuously selected and the desired graininess achieved without interrupting the work process.
Dual laser technology for reliable fail-safety
With dual laser optics, the laser diodes are arranged in two separate modules. In the unlikely event that one diode fails, a fail-safe circuit ensures that brightness or colour is not affected. Compatible products are therefore ideal for applications where the image must be permanently preserved.
