The HDMI via HDBaseT Extender Set PT-HDBT-100 transmits HDMI signals with 4K resolution (max. 60Hz with 4:2:0) over a distance of up to 40 metres or with FullHD / 1080p resolution up to 70 metres. The set supports HDMI version 1.4 with a max. bandwidth of 10.2Gbps incl. HDCP 2.2. The system enables bidirectional transmission (pass-through) for IR and RS232 signals for easy control of remote devices. With the practical DIP switch on the front of the device, the RS232 mode can be easily switched between "Control" and "Update" mode. Thanks to bidirectional PoC support, only one of the two devices (transmitter or receiver) needs to be supplied with power at a time. The set also supports CEC and has a robust steel housing with mounting brackets, making it ideal for professional installations.

The PT-HDBT-100 4K HDMI via HDBaseT Extender Set consists of a transmitter (Tx) and receiver (Rx) and transmits incoming HDMI signals via HDBaseT. For this purpose, both devices are connected with a conventional Cat. Cat.5e / Cat.6a) over distances of up to 40 metres for 4K resolutions with max. 60Hz at 4:2:0 colour subsampling or up to 70 metres for FullHD / 1080p resolutions.

The system supports bidirectional PoC (Power over Cat) power supply. This means that only one of the two devices needs to be supplied with power using the included power supply unit so that the other device is also supplied with power via the HDBaseT Cat connection. This saves on power supply units and creates order thanks to less cabling at one of the two locations.

The bidirectional forwarding (pass-through) of IR and RS232 signals enables connected devices to be controlled from the other location. Simply connect the RS232 control device (e.g. PC) or IR emitter/receiver (not included) to the transmitter or receiver and forward the signal to a remote location via HDBaseT Cat connection. Both devices have both an IR input and an IR output with two 3.5mm sockets each. This means that the connected TV set can be controlled from the side of the source device and at the same time the source device can be controlled from the side of the TV set. The system also supports CEC control data via HDMI, which is also transmitted via HDBaseT.

The practical DIP switch on the front of both devices allows the RS232 connection to be switched between "Control" and "Update" function. In the "Control" position, the RS232 connection can traditionally be used to forward RS232 signals. In the "Update" position, the integrated Valens chipset can be programmed via PC.

The 12V power connection of both devices can be locked using a screw cap.
