This flexible, scalable solution meets the acoustic requirements of large conference rooms and rooms with special table arrangements. Up to five different microphones can be connected in series. With its external speakers and microphone, the YVC-1000 is ideal for Skype applications, such as distance learning and seminars, where a handheld microphone is often more appropriate for other UC applications.

In its standard configuration*1 , the YVC-1000MS is ideal for small and medium-sized conferences via Skype for Business. For larger meetings, external speakers*2 and up to 4 additional microphones can be used to cover larger areas and include more meeting participants.

External microphones - more flexibility for distance learning and seminars

With its external microphone input, the YVC-1000MS is ideal for applications such as distance learning and remote seminars, where a handheld microphone would often be more appropriate. Simply connect an external microphone and your voice can be heard through both the base station speaker and the remote site speakers.

The YVC-1000MS features many of the sound technology innovations that Yamaha has developed over the years, such as the unique Human Voice Activity Detection (HVAD) for detecting human voices. HVAD is an important component of various sound processing functions that need to separate noise and human voices quickly and efficiently, so that teleconference participants can speak and listen in a relaxed and stress-free manner.

"Adaptive echo cancellation" - ensures clear sound for efficient business communication.

Intelligently suppresses echoes that occur when microphones pick up sounds from speakers in different reflective environments. Adaptive echo cancellation handles sounds up to 20 kHz, enabling clear and effective conversations.

"Automatic Tracking" - Full concentration on the essentials

Automatic tracking allows the YVC-1000MS to detect and track where a person's voice is coming from to ensure the clearest possible audio recording.The ability to distinguish human voices from random background noise is particularly useful when conferencing in noisy environments with a large number of participants.

This feature automatically amplifies or attenuates individual voices, depending on the level and distance from the microphone. Using HVAD technology, the automatic gain control ensures that only human voices are amplified, enabling clear and precise communication even in noisy environments.

"Noise Cancelling - Better understanding through less background noise

Noise Cancelling reduces or eliminates unwanted sounds generated by sources such as projectors and air conditioners. Persistent noise picked up by microphones is suppressed so that only clear and intelligible voices can be heard.

"Reverberation" - clear sound without reverberation

Natural reverberation can significantly affect the sound quality of teleconferences. However, the YVC-1000MS ensures very clear speech reproduction even in rooms with extremely strong reverberation and suppresses the reverberation caused by the different acoustic properties of different environments.

In real time, the automatic room equalisation optimises the speaker performance for the dimensions and acoustic properties of the room in question. The audio quality is automatically adjusted to the audio signal of the current conversation. This makes the sound more pleasant and eliminates unwanted echoes.
